Drinking tea from a Samovar was a tradition symbolising the Russian hospitality. This object brought people together, engaged a social and collaborative situations. This ritual disappears with the industrialisation of the Samovar : today, we use its electric version - the kettle. It reflects our lifestyles that are becoming more individual and solitary.
Through the graphic work that decomposes the traditional Russian pattern called Gjel, I am symbolising the human values erasing with time.
